Taekwondo practice of forms and exercises lead by local enthusiast and community volunteer Quintin Springstead. Focus on self-control, self-defence, kicking and punching, this is not a structured program to earn belts and certification, it is a recreation time to practice together and improve your current skills.

Beginner and intermediate levels. Modifications for beginners or injury recovery will be demonstrated. Each participant must bring their own yoga mat with some additional props available for use in class.
Classes are organized by the MD on a break-even basis so plan to arrive early to help set up the space and help put everything away after each class.

Hike up Exshaw mountain staring at the Windridge/Knowlerville playground where you will receive a passport to be stamped at checkpoints along the way. Sign in at the geocache at the summit.
Suitable for families; there are many points where you can choose to continue or turn back. Remember to check-in when you return.
Hike monitoring hours: 10am to 3pm (weather permitting) If the weather is too cold or too wet we will try to reschedule for another fall Sunday.
Plan 1.5 – 2 hours to get to the top. 1:30 pm will be the last monitored group, if you start after that you are on your own.
Dress for changeable weather with sturdy footwear, bring water, snacks, bear spray
