Agriculture

The Agriculture Fieldman/Watershed Coordinator carries out a dual function: overseeing the M.D.'s agriculture support programs, and administering the M.D.'s watershed protection initiatives. In the agriculture support programs, the M.D. has such services as weed inspections and control, problem wildlife control, agriculture education, and soil/water conservation practices. In the watershed protection area, the Fieldman/Coordinator promotes erosion control, riparian areas protection, and safe farming practices alongside water courses.
