Seniors Benefits and Programs are available federally, provincially and locally. Information packages are available from Community Services, call or email in your request. The Benefit Year runs July 1 to June 30.

Federal Programs
  • Old Age Security (OAS), Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) and Spouse's Allowance
  • Canada Pension Plan (CPP)
  • Other federal programs - The federal government has a variety of other programs designed for particular groups, such as war veterans (the War Veterans Allowance); First Nations people and Inuit (the Assisted Living Program); or people who have lived or worked in another country (International Benefits Program).
