  1. Community Gym Nights and Teen/Adult Ball Hockey hour

    November 20, 2018, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM @ Exshaw School

    Begins Tuesday, November 13th - all area residents are welcome to participate! 6:30–8pm Free, unstructured community ‘play in the gym’ time. Everyone is welcome to join & play together (not a drop-off program). Come, hang out & play whatever you decide. 8-9pm Teens/Adult hour organized by community volunteers for non-competitive, no-contact, ball hockey (or other sports if participants want that) bring your non-marking shoes and plastic blade sticks. $2 each week to cover extended building monitor time. Bring clean, non-marking runners, leave your boots and outdoor shoes at the north doors just above the gym. Complete waiver the 1st time you attend & sign in each week. All participants are responsible for good sportsmanship, supervising their own children, for care of the school and equipment and for putting everything away neatly at the end. Check for notice on around 4:00pm Tuesdays - in case we must cancel a Gym Night.

  2. Mindfulness Yoga & Meditation

    November 20, 2018, 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM @ Exshaw Community Centre

    Cindy Kelly will lead this practice to cultivate calmness and concentration while getting deeper into your tissues, allowing deep release of tension and stress. Restorative (prop based) and yin (longer held) postures are integrated into this class along with mindfulness and meditation. Suitable for anyone looking to relax, de-stress and release while focusing on strength and flexibility. Bring your yoga mat and a blanket. If you don’t have a mat, we have extras!

  3. TENTATIVE Strength Training Program in Exshaw Community Gym

    Sign up by November 15 - minimum 2, maximum 4 participants A fitness program custom designed for you with individual modifications and consultations. Each session is independent of the others but will flow together for a complete plan. Instructor: Christa Chasse, Excel Fitness
